Dr. Ancil has served as President and Economist for the Roepke Institute, a non-profit corporation founded by Russell Kirk and devoted to educating the public on the principles of political economy since 1993, . He is also editor for The Wilhelm Roepke Review. Prior to this, he was an economist for the Department of the Interior under the Bush Administration. Dr. Ancil has taught economics at Southwest Missouri State University, Hillsdale College, Michigan State University, and Lansing Community College. Dr. Ancil received his Ph.D. in philosophy and his M.S. in resource development from Michigan State University, and his B.S. in mathematics from Grand Valley State College.
