William F. Campbell is Professor Emeritus of Economics at Louisiana State University. Since 1995, Dr. Campbell has been the secretary of The Philadelphia Society and is past president of that organization. He is the editor of two books by Wilhelm Roepke, Social Crisis of Our Time and The Moral Foundations of Civil Society, and has written the introductions for both publications. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. Dr. Campbell did his graduate work in philosophy at the University of Minnesota before spending a year at the University of Pavia in Italy, and received his B.A. from DePauw University.
