Donald Shaw Frazier is Professor of History at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Frazier is Fellow and Executive Director of Grady McWhiney Research Foundation, a private foundation for furthering education on topics regarding the history of the middle years of the 19th century in American History and topics in military history. He has authored five books and his writings have been included in history encyclopedias and college manuals. His historical cartography of more than 900 thematic maps have been featured in some three dozen publications, including Texas History textbooks. Dr. Frazier received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Texas Christian University.
