Richard Jensen is Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he taught from 1973-1997. Dr. Jensen has served as a research associate for the National Center for Supercomputer Applications since 1996 and has been a lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1998. Dr. Jensen received his Ph.D. in American Studies from Yale University and his B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame. One of his many honors and awards, in 1997, Dr. Jensen received the James Harvey Robinson Prize for Teaching from the American Historical Association.
