Allen Matusow has taught U. S. History at Rice University since receiving his Ph.D. in History from Harvard University in 1963. Dr. Matusow received his B.A. from Ursinus College in 1958 and his M.A. from Harvard University in 1959. He holds the William Gaines Twyman endowed chair in the Department of History.
