Major Stevenson is a James Madison Fellow, fifth generation Houstonian and graduate of Jack Yates High School. He has a B.L.S. degree in History from Saint Edward's University, and a M.S. Degree in History from the University of Houston. In 1995, Mr. Stevenson competed for and was awarded a fellowship from the James Madison Memorial Foundation. In 1994, he was named Teacher of the Year at Carter G. Woodson Middle School. Mr. Stevenson currently teaches World History at Willowridge High School, in Fort Bend Independent School District.
